I live in Massachusetts, Land o' Warren, home to the biggest destructively phony RINO of all time, Governor Charlie Baker, surrounded by über-liberal Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Bernieland. It is CNN/MSNBC-style groupthink around here, to the point where the daily headlines and news stories seem like caricatures of themselves as if no one could actually believe the stuff they're saying. But the vast majority of people here actually say it, and they truly believe it.
Standing in almost humorous juxtaposition to the arbitrary and idiotic politically corrupt liberal ideological stance that dominates our local landscape is the unequaled Boston medical community. The research and treatment capabilities here are without parallel anywhere in the world. Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel Deaconess, Tufts/Boston Medical Center, Lahey Medical Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Center, etc. — the range and capability of Boston's medical resources are truly life-altering. To have routine access to this medical affiliation staggers the mind. It's having won life's health lottery.
